Housed within a 17th-century water cistern, this art gallery was designed as a space for temporary exhibitions by prominent Portuguese and international artists. To accommodate the diverse needs of each show, we opted for a highly adaptable lighting solution. Track lighting fixtures, with superior color rendering and adjustable beam angles, were installed. A Casambi smart wireless system was implemented for control, providing intelligent functionality without requiring new wiring within the historic cistern. This resulted in a versatile lighting design that empowers the gallery owners to easily tailor the illumination for upcoming exhibitions.
