The architectural renovation of this 5-story Georgian terrace in Pimlico focused on maximizing natural light penetration across all rooms through an improved internal layout. This design facilitated better light transfer between areas, further enhanced by pavement lights connecting the ground and lower ground floors, which house the kitchen and living room. As lighting designers, our aim was to seamlessly integrate with this architectural concept, creating a fluid transition from daylight to artificial illumination using a combination of linear and point luminaires. To achieve the client's desired feeling of abundant light, we selected a 3000K color temperature. A lighting control system provides tailored management for the lower living spaces, while bedrooms are equipped with standard dimmers for budgetary reasons.

Inspired by the timeless beauty of Sardegna, this exquisite hillside residence overlooks the Mediterranean Sea. Every detail reflects traditional island motifs, from patterns reminiscent of goldsmith filigree, intricate embroidery, and woven baskets to finishes that capture the island's vibrant colors, like the rich red basalt stone. The lighting scheme is meticulously crafted to accentuate these handcrafted elements, fostering a warm and welcoming atmosphere. A prime example is the stunning stone panel in the living room, a creation of the celebrated Sardinian artist Pinuccio Sciolla. Expansive terraces, lush gardens, and a sparkling swimming pool further enhance this exceptional property.
